Memories Worth Keeping

Some days are just made for baking. I might not bake an awful lot, but come mid December, you better believe there are going to be some homemade Christmas cookies on our counter.

This year a gingerbread man will be missing an arm because Sister pulled it out of the cookie cutter with a bit more aggression than what was needed - it's just her style here lately.

She went to bed with flour stained pink-polka-dot pajamas, since the baking hour began at bedtime - I'll show you rules.

The minutes were sweet like the cream cheese icing. They were messy like the flour sprinkled down for rolling.

So it goes with toddlers - a bit sweet and a bit messy - plenty of rule breaking.

Holding memories close tonight. Linking up with Money Shot Monday with Flower Patch Farmgirl - yes, I'm a day late, but FPFG won't mind - and with Tuesdays Unwrapped with Chatting at the Sky - right on time.

For last year's rendition and our tried and true Christmas cookie recipe, go on over to  Christmas Cookies, Kinley Style.
